SIDECAR RIDER EXPERIENCE - OVERLAND GATHERING
£45pp / 1.5 hours / Friday 3rd or Saturday 4th September
The Overland Gathering is going to be held at The Drift Cafe AKA The home of the Sidecar Guys! What better place to finally try out a third wheel! Assuming you're new to sidecars, this experience will include the following:

An introduction to sidecar riding. Including some top tips on how to stop and steer this new type of vehicle.

Time to develop your skills on our test track with a series of fun games.
It's a small group experience so if you're new to sidecar riding this one is for you. If you've already got experience riding sidecars and don't see yourself as someone who is starting from scratch please let us know when booking so we can plan for a different great session.
HOW IT WORKS
Two people share one motorbike and sidecar for a 90 minute sidecar experience. Your guide will initially be in the sidecar as you take turns behind the handlebars. We'll run through a set of exercises to get you up to speed on how to control an outfit before we step out of the sidecar and let you have a play as a pair. We start from scratch and slowly introduce everything you need to know about sidecar riding. Everyone learns at a different pace and the guide only steps out of the sidecar when we're confident you are in control and safe enough to take a passenger.
The experience takes place at Tranwell Airfield. Around a 30 minute ride from the Drift Cafe. You need to meet us there.
The price is £45pp. You can only ride if you have a full motorbike license, with no more than 6 points and you must be over the age of 25. You can join as a passenger but the price remains the same at £45pp.
With two riders you can expect to have around 40 minutes behind the handlebars each as well as sometime in the sidecar. There will be a series of fun games to play which makes doing it together more fun.
If you would like to book on your own you must be comfortable with another stranger from the Overland Gathering joining your session. If nobody else joins, your session will be 1-2-1 and will finish earlier as a result.
The experience will be on a Ural!
