SIDECAR SAFARI
Available as a half day (3 hours) or full day experience (6+ hours)
It's time to take the road less travelled, leave the tarmac and take on the sidecar safari! Expect to race down forest tracks, splash through fords, fizz across farmers fields and even cross rivers on this completely unique experience.
We'll make use of Northumberland's amazing network of 'green lanes' which are essentially legal roads that never got paved! You'll trundle down ancient byways and we'll have to stick the bike in two-wheel drive to drag us up steep muddy banks on this fun, off-road experience.
You need to be mobile and able to hold on to take on this adventure day. There may also be sections that you have to walk past an obstacle or wait for your friend while we splash you through the puddle one at a time! We don't travel fast but the roads less travelled are always bumpier!
SIDECAR SAFARI HALF DAY
£145pp / 3 hours
This three hour adventure will include a mixture of on and off-road riding. We'll zoom down some country lanes before we pass the advisory 'unsuitable for motor vehicles' sign, engage two wheel drive and begin our off-road experience. You'll need to be happy going for a bumpy ride on this experience as we'll be bouncing up and down rutted tracks for the duration. Make sure you pack your waterproofs whatever the weather as crossing streams gets you wet even on a sunny day!
What's Included?
A private guide, one motorbike and sidecar outfit shared between two people (one in sidecar one on the pillion seat) and refreshments.
SIDECAR SAFARI FULL DAY
£245pp / 6 hours
The full day Sidecar Safari has it all! Expect to enjoy the same bumpy ruts, water splashing and muddy banks on a half day but add into the mix drifting forest tracks and more opportunities to stop and enjoy the quiet remote locations these green lanes take us to. We'll pull in for a lovely Northumberland lunch and have plenty of opportunity to stop and admire the view with a coffee out of the sidecar boot during the day. Again, make sure you pack your waterproofs for this one as you will get wet (unless you really don't want to and we can go another way... but come on it's SO much fun!)

WHAT TO EXPECT

All experiences are based on two people sharing one sidecar. One person rides the motorcycle and one person is the co-pilot in the sidecar itself. If you're both licensed riders you can swap seats throughout the day and if you don't have a license, you can just hop in the sidecar and enjoy the ride.

All guides are trained in sidecar riding and are OGA qualified motorcycle guides. Our guide will lead the day from another motorcycle or motorcycle and sidecar in front of you.

Safety first. We take safety really seriously and only travel at safe legal speeds. Sidecars are a thrill at 30mph! Plus we can provide helmets and other safety equipment if you don't have your own.​
