Everything you need to know about our passenger experiences
Our 'Passenger Experiences' are for anyone who is looking to have a go in a Ural motorcycle and sidecar. As the name suggests you will only be a passenger and won't be controlling the motorcycle. Your pilot will be an experienced sidecar rider and qualified motorcycle guide so you'll be in safe hands! If you want to control the bike you need to see rider experiences.
How does it work and where do we sit?
Each passenger experience is priced per person based on two people sharing one motorcycle and sidecar (except the Sidecar Safari which is one person per sidecar). This means that one person will be sat in the sidecar and one person will be sat on the pillion seat behind the pilot. All passenger experiences are private so you can stop to swap seats as often as you like. If you don't fancy sitting in the pillion seat and would like a more comfortable ride, you can upgrade to two sidecars by purchasing an 'Extra Bike Upgrade'. This provides you with an additional motorcycle and sidecar and an additional pilot to drive it. You'll then both be able to sit in the sidecar seat and experience the most comfortable, fun ride.
All experiences are priced per person with a minimum booking size of 2 . This means that for most of our experiences you have to book in group sizes of 2, 4, 6 or 8. If you would like to come on your own or as an odd numbered group then you will need to pay a single supplement fee.
Where can we go?
Anywhere! We can do tailored passenger experiences anywhere in the UK but our standard experiences are all based out of our experience centre in Morpeth, Northumberland. We run incredible scenic experiences to Hadrian's Wall, along the Northumberland coastline and through the Kielder Forest. We also offer Sidecar Safaris where you get wet and muddy on some of the regions green lanes.
How do I book?
You can find out more information and book an experience directly on our website here. You will be asked to pay a £100 per person deposit when booking and the remaining balance will be due on arrival. All deposits are non-refundable but you can move your dates up to 4 weeks in advance.
